Another stellar day. We got into Missoula about 9:30 after a beautiful drive from Deer Lodge…lots of unique rock formations and the mountains coming closer. Missoula has so many options, we rode up the Woods Gulch, missed the trail that doubles back and kept on climbing, at about 5 miles we realized our mistake and doubled back. The climb was relentless but we only realized that because we couldn’t let go of the brakes all the way down!! What a fun ride. And then the ride to Whitefish. Flathead Lake was amazing under blue skies and moderate wind.
